This project was to construct a new 110kV transmission line from Arapuni Power Station to Putaruru Zone Substation.
The line route is from the Transpower owned Arapuni Substation to the Powerco owned Putaruru Sub Station and is a combination of road berm, with sections of the line across private property (farmland with 4WD access).
Trench consists of;
3 x 160mm PE ducts jointed via electrofusion couplers.
2 x 32mm PE ducts
1 x 63mm duct.
Total meterage of combined trench installed = 3400m
Of this total meterage, there was 2 drill shots (1 at 40m and 1 at 120m) and 2 bridge crossings in specialist steel ducts (both at 30m each)
